According to the St. Louis Business Journal, in a study done by Prudential Insurance 
Company, disability days were 20 percent lower and disability-per-capita costs were 32

Medstat Group, a health care research firm in Ann Arbor, published a survey in the 
January 2002 issue of the Journal of Occupational Medicine. They concluded that medical 
claims costs for Johnson & Johnson Inc. employees dropped an average of $225 per 
employee per year after the company started its corporate wellness program in 1995.
